Susan currently offers Couples Therapy & Pre-Marital Counseling.
For over 25 years, Susan has been helping people build relationships that work — with others, and with themselves. She believes we’re fundamentally wired for connection, and that when things get rough, as they do at times in most any relationship, having a skilled guide can make all the difference. Susan offers couples and individual therapy, in-person or virtual, serving clients throughout Georgia.
Her Approach: Relational Life Therapy (RLT)
Susan’s approach is grounded in Relational Life Therapy (RLT) — she recognizes none of us grew up in a vacuum, and that understanding how our families shaped us is key to changing old patterns. She’s warm and direct, gentle but honest, and she’ll tell you what she sees, even when it’s not what you expected to hear.
Brainspotting
Susan is also trained in Brainspotting, a therapeutic approach that can help clients access, process, and transform what talk therapy alone sometimes can’t reach — especially useful when old wounds are getting in the way of a current relationship.

Background
Earlier in her career, Susan worked extensively with children, teens, and families — experience that still shapes how she understands relationships across every stage of life.
Outside the Office
Susan enjoys reading and music. She’s a long-time yoga practitioner and an enthusiastic college football and Braves baseball fan. She and her partner have an interesting arrangement: “he cooks and fixes stuff while I do the shopping and driving.” She treasures time with friends and family above almost everything else.
